There is a duck in my pool! What do I do?

Ducks have a knack for finding water, even in backyard pools! The ducks will likely stick around if there is plenty of water and food available. However, this is not the best option for them because it is better if they move to the proper habitat. 

If they are adult ducks, leave them alone and do not feed them; they should move on eventually. However, if you are concerned for their safety or there are ducklings in your pool, you may wish to contact a local wildlife rehabilitation centre, your provincial wildlife agency or Canadian Wildlife Service.
