I found an injured/sick/dead bird. What can I do?

Injured bird? 

Ducks Unlimited Canada doesn’t handle rescues ( we focus on habitat), but a local wildlife rehabilitator should be able to help.  

Sick or dead bird? 

Avoid handling sick or dead birds and keep dogs and other pets away from birds found dead of unknown causes. 

You may wish to contact a local wildlife rehabilitation centre, your provincial wildlife agency or the Canadian Wildlife Service.
